Our Story

We built the feedback tool we always wished existed

GhostRate started with a simple belief: honest feedback shouldn't require bravery.

"Most people know what's wrong. Very few will say it out loud."

We've all been in the meeting where everyone nods but nobody agrees. We've all held back feedback that could have helped someone grow. We've all watched problems fester because the culture made honesty feel dangerous.

GhostRate exists to change that.

Not by asking people to be braver. Not by running trust workshops or psychological safety seminars. But by making the technical case for honesty — by building a system where the anonymity is mathematically guaranteed, not just promised.

When you know your identity is technically protected — when you can read the architecture and verify it yourself — you say what you actually think.

What we believe

Honesty requires infrastructure

Telling people to "be honest" without protecting them from the consequences is hollow. Real honesty cultures are built on real technical guarantees.

Anonymity is a feature, not a bug

Anonymous feedback isn't a workaround for broken cultures. It's the foundation for building honest ones. Trust the data, not the bravery of individuals.

Transparency about our own system

We publish our architecture. We explain exactly what we store and what we don't. We invite you to verify our claims. That's the only honest way to sell an honesty product.

Built independently

GhostRate is currently bootstrapped and independent. We believe the best feedback product is one built without pressure to compromise on privacy for growth metrics.
